Can I switch tiers later?

Absolutely. Most festivals start with Core to prove the value, then move to Pro when they need analytics and branding.

What determines my exact Core tier pricing?

Your festival's attendee capacity. Small (up to 2,000): £800/year. Medium (2,001-5,000): £1,000/year. Large (5,001-7,500): £1,200/year.

Do you offer a free trial or pilot?

We can run a pilot for a single event so you can see the value firsthand. Get in touch and we'll work out the right arrangement.

How long does setup take?

Core can be live within days. Pro is similarly fast. Branded takes 4-6 weeks for custom development and app store submission.

Can I use Flux for non-music festivals?

Absolutely. Food festivals, cultural events, conferences, multi-day gatherings — if it has a schedule, stages and attendees, Flux works.

These terms govern your use of Flux, a festival companion platform operated by Flux (“we”, “us”, “our”). By using Flux, you agree to these terms.

1. Service Description

Flux provides a festival companion platform consisting of a mobile app for festival attendees and an admin portal for festival organisers. The platform includes schedule management, interactive maps, push notifications, offline access and analytics.

2. Accounts and Access

Festival organisers must create an account to manage their events. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. The attendee mobile app does not require an account.

3. Subscriptions and Payments

Flux offers three tiers: Core, Pro and Branded. Pricing for Core and Pro is based on your festival's attendee capacity and is detailed on our pricing page. Branded pricing is custom, agreed during onboarding. Subscriptions are billed annually. We reserve the right to adjust pricing with 30 days notice before your renewal date.

The Branded tier includes a one-time setup fee that covers custom development, branding, app store submission and infrastructure configuration. The setup fee is agreed during onboarding and may be paid upfront or spread over three monthly instalments.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

Use Flux for any unlawful purpose
Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile or extract source code from the platform
Interfere with or disrupt the platform's infrastructure
Send spam, misleading or harmful content through push notifications
Use analytics data to attempt to identify individual attendees
Resell or redistribute access to the platform without our permission

5. Content and Data

Festival organisers retain ownership of all content they upload (schedules, artist information, venue maps, branding assets). You grant Flux a licence to host, display and distribute this content through the platform for the purpose of operating the service.

Anonymous, aggregated analytics data generated by the platform is provided to organisers as part of the service. Raw analytics data belongs to the organiser and can be exported at any time.

6. Intellectual Property

The Flux platform, including its design, code, features and branding, is owned by Flux. Your subscription grants a non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the platform for the duration of your subscription.

For Branded tier customers, the custom app is built on Flux infrastructure and remains part of the Flux ecosystem. You own your branding assets but not the underlying platform technology.

7. Availability and Support

We aim to maintain high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. The offline-first architecture of the mobile app ensures attendees can access core features (schedule, maps, favourites) without an internet connection.

Core and Pro tiers include standard technical support during events. Branded tier includes priority support and dedicated onboarding.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Flux shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform. Our total liability shall not exceed the fees paid by you in the 12 months preceding the claim.

9. Termination

Either party may terminate the subscription at the end of the current billing period with 30 days written notice. We may suspend or terminate access immediately if you breach these terms.

Upon termination, we will provide a reasonable period (minimum 30 days) to export your data. After this period, your data will be permanently deleted from our systems.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes at least 30 days before they take effect. Continued use of Flux after changes constitutes acceptance.

11. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
