Help with the Flux app and organiser portal.

Frequently asked questions

How do I find my festival in the app?

Open Flux and your festival appears on the home screen once the organiser has released it. If you were given a link, opening it on your phone takes you straight to the right event.

Does the app work offline?

Yes. Schedules, maps and your saved artists are stored on your phone, so everything keeps working in dead zones. Changes sync automatically when you have signal again.

How do set reminders and notifications work?

Tap the heart on a performance to save it and Flux reminds you before it starts. Organisers can also send announcements such as stage changes, delays and safety alerts. You can turn notifications off at any time in your phone settings.

Why does Flux ask for my location?

Location shows where you are on the festival map and helps you navigate the site. If you allow background access, your movement between zones also contributes to anonymous crowd-flow insights for the organiser. The app works fully if you decline.

Do I need an account?

No. The attendee app needs no sign-up, login or personal details. Your favourites are stored against an anonymous identifier on your device.

I'm an organiser. Where do I manage my event?

Everything lives in the Flux portal: schedules, artists, maps, announcements and analytics. Sign in at withflux.app/portal or get in touch if you need help getting set up.
